hehe I don't know why, but Frozen is one of my favorite Jonas episodes, which you may remember from previous discussion. (I get so confused sometimes, as you probably also know. *g*) He was in a Daniel situation, but he couldn't *be* Daniel. He seemed more human in that episode to me, where he was bumbling a bit, unsure of himself, feeling somewhat unwanted, possibly screwing up, etc. Even if they had written the lines for Daniel originally (not saying they did *g*), I liked the way CN played it because it was so not what MS would have done in those scenes.
I also liked Prophecy partly for the same reason. In spite of the "special Jonas" parts, this was an earnest, but insecure guy. He seemed more human. If they'd skipped Descent and had this one earlier in the season, Jonas could have had an interesting storyline that, while it may not have made him a totally compelling character, would have given him something other than being Not!Daniel most of the time.
