Oh, I loved this story. Teal'c does such a good job of fitting into his surroundings that's it's easy to forget just how alien his perspective really is. He truly would appreciate the Tauri's inventiveness, and see it as a reward of their freedom. It's easy to see that Jack still has that nagging sense of 'not really invented here' about all the alien tech they use so routinely now. For someone who likes to seem so blase, he has a deep appreciation for the true pioneering spirit, as well as the blood, sweat and toil that went into everyone each of those aeronautical innovations.
