I read this when you were putting it out to all of those places you put your stuff out to...and, well, sorry for the late feedback!
I'm hoping to see this kind of protectiveness from Mitchell when Vala comes onboard next season. We saw a little of it (protectiveness) in "Camelot", so I think that your scenes could just as easily have happened. I like reading a story like that -- where you slip right back into canon. It is as if your scenes were written, but hit the cutting room floor (and we know all about good scenes doing that for this show in real life).
I enjoyed it enough that I was sorry it ended, because, well, I just wanted a bit more. Yes, I was missing Daniel, but I'm just geared that way. Are you going to write various POVs for the same incident?
