You remember you're saying this to one of your betas from "The Grey" right? ;-)

What's funny is that that fic was originally supposed to be Jack POV because I thought that would be easiest. But it really wanted to be Sam POV, and I fought it until I realized that whoever I picked for POV would be the person through whom we saw the Accepted's test. And then I fled from Jack and clung to Sam for all I was worth because I realized that I would rather eat a live toad than try and portray the inside of Jack's head during the test because I was pretty sure he was going to completely lose it at only Jack can do and I was terrified of writing that. So see, I am totally lazy. And a coward. But it worked it, I like Sam's POV on that fic. *grin*
