Cheery Teamy Recs
Oct. 29th, 2008 07:46 pmI...have been in a prickly, stressed out mood lately for a variety of reasons. My fandom meanderings have been spotty and haphazard as well.
But I thought I'd at least post a couple cute stories that did catch my attention. They cheered me up recently and if anyone else needs a little ray of sunshine, this may help you too!

acarlgeek wrote M is for Military Cover as one of the Jack Alphabits thing, and it is an amazingly clever and amusing story giving a perspective of O'Neill and the team...from the point of view of Jack's cap. It has serious issues with Daniel's limpy boonie, and size envy it can't fit Teal'c's head, and don't get it started on Sam's beginning to skirt regulation hair. An original character POV fic that is truly original and lots of fun. (And thanks to suzannemarie for poking me about it.
Speaking ofsuzannemarie, she's made her first fanvid! It's a cute look at team and some of their crazy adventures set to a mellow tune: It's Just That Kind of Day...and right now, I totally empathize with the sentiment.

stargateficrec anyway because it's so hilarious. By ziparumpazoo, it's really a HAMMOND fic (those are rare gems in and of themselves). And...if you recognize the title reference, read that pretty literally. There's singing...and showers...and teamy goodness.
I've enjoyed more, but these fit the "cheer you up" motif I've got running. Hope y'all are having a relatively stress free time out there!
