Icon Meme again!

aurora_novarumOkay, so I've played in the icon meme again (crossposted to dw and lj).
If you want to play,
1. Reply to this post with "excalibur", and I will pick five of your icons.
2. Make a post (including the meme info) and talk about the icons I chose.
3. Other people can then comment to you and make their own posts.
4. This will create a never-ending cycle of icon glee.
I really wonder that my friends picked a lot of the same icons.

This is a photograph I took of a sunset on the Bay of Fundy, Canada some years ago and really the only iconage of a personal nature on my journal. I just love the tranquil look of the setting and fits pretty decently in a 100x100 square, no?
Oh come on, the Ancient language is TOTALLY tetris boxes (Sam and Jacob even proved you could read them upside down and sideways!). I made this one up myself and use it when I'm either amused or frustrated. IT's so not what Daniel's really saying in that scene...but it should be.

This is Parker from Leverage, my new favorite show. I tried to fit the caption "20 pounds of crazy in a 5 lb bag" here, but couldn't. It's from that pilot episode though and just seems to encapsulate Parker very well. Upside down and awesome all at once.

D'aww! It's pixel SG-1 all seasons!nomadicwriter made up this one too (she's also the creator of the mood theme I currently use because I'm too lazy to create my own SG-1 mood theme). I just think they're so adorable, and I end up watching the whole ten seasons scroll by at least once when I use it. I haven't used it in a while though *should dust off*
WHO DID THIS ICON! PLEASE TELL ME! It's someone on my f-list, I know. And I snatched it on impulse because RORY! AWESOME RORY BEING AWESOME! But I was in a rush and didn't make the notes I meant to because of course I'd remember and then work and then vacation and of course I DON'T remember. ETA: I tracked it down. It was the magnificentsallymn. Basically, this is a Doctor Who character I completely adore. I've really gotten into Who lately. Which is funny, because I would still argue Ten is my favorite, but I've never been so *must see tv* with it until this season. Maybe it's because of Mark Sheppard guesting in the premiere. If you're not familiar or caught up with the show, I won't say more about it in particular, but I like to use it a lot when I'm actually asking a question or when I'm feeling snarky or actually since it's my only Who icon, anytime I'm talking about that (Actually since this is my new shiny toy I use it maybe more than I should be).

Beta Babe!annerbhp gifted me with this a few years ago as what she thought would be the perfect encapsulation of me. :-p I've apparently got a bit of a reputation as a beta. It's all that sentence diagramming in middle school, I guess. Of course, I'm never as good at nit-picking grammar in my OWN stories. Heh.
Oh, this is one of the first icons I ever made. I love how I was able to crop it with both Cam and Daniel in the shot and it just...it fits, right? (I loved this scene and was a bit disappointed the build up of FH Part 1 cliffhanger kinda fizzled in Part 2, but eh). This also shows you around the time I fully got into lj fandom, huh?

Aww, it's no secret Bill Lee is my favorite secondary character (for the record, I consider Janet and Hammond as primary as the team). And come on. That is the best line he ever gave! I still see him talking about his equations for how far they can travel on tiny feet. Ah, this was a joint project betweennever_at_home and me when we're first exploring iconage. I love this episode from Season Seven (it really grew on me over time) and just thought it was a perfect encapsulation of their strange friendship, both a struggle and support for each other.
